What
is the Legendary Street Team?
We are a group of the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise's
most passionate cruisers, who have a common desire to help
promote Legendary and The
Backbone Of The Blues' mission throughout the year.
Do
I need to have promotions experience to join?
You
do not need prior experience to join our team. We realize
your participation is a good-will gesture, and appreciate
what you can bring to the table.
What
does the Street Team do?
Street Team members share their enthusiasm through a number
of fun activities with the goal of increasing awareness of
The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise.
These
activities include:
At Festivals:
1 - Visit booth/Land Yacht
2 - Wear cruiser sticker/LRBC t-shirt
3 - Hang out and share your cruise stories
4 - Pick up and distribute referral cards
5 - Carry Legendary flag (esp. where we will not be present!)
In Advance:
6 - Flyer area clubs and record stores
7 - Gather info about local clubs and radio shows with contacts
so we can set up interviews and research which clubs to go
to. It is very important that clubs feature national touring
acts on a regular basis.
8 - Suggest/submit Silent Auction items for on-ship and pre-cruise
fundraisers.
What
is the commitment?
Signing up only registers your interest in helping to promote
Cruise and our Backbone of the Blues Road Tour. The specifics
of what you will do depend on how much time you have, and
how much you want to do.

FEES...
Additionally, we want to reward our Friends who bring
their Virgin Friends to the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise
with a $50 Referral Fee per person. What's a Legendary Virgin?
Someone who has never sailed on the Cruise! To receive your
$50 Referral Fee, your Legendary Virgin must give your name
at the time of booking, pay in full and sail in October 2008
or January 2009.
